  • Participants do not have a health condition such as heart attack etc.

Pre-study session

Arrive at Borneo Dream centre sales office at Wisma Sabah. During this study session, you will watch 3 sections from the PADI Scuba Diver Course DVD. Complete 3 chapters plus corresponding Knowledge Reviews and 3 little quizzes. All this should take around 4 hours.


Day 1

0845         Meet Dive crew at the red Public Telephone Booths at the entrance to Jesselton Point Jetty
                 and transfer to the morning dive site at Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park.

0930 
       Receive a full safety briefing provided by PADI Instructor for your morning diving activities.
                 You will then complete you 10 minutes float.

         You’ll be helped into your diver gear. During the morning training session you will complete
                 confined skill session 1. And go for a short dive to practice your diving buoyancy. This
                 morning session will take place in a protected bay in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park
                 which provide safe and confined like training condition.

         Back on our boat. You’ll be transfer to Padang Point for tasty lunch.

1330
         Back on to our dive boat. PADI Instructor will provide a full briefing for your first open
                 water dive course. Join PADI Instructor for a dive along a shallow coral reef during which
                 you’ll see hard and soft corals and some colourful tropical marine life. The dive can
                 anywhere from 30-50 minutes depending on your air consumption.

1500
         Back on the boat after you finish your first open water dive course. Once you’ve taken your
                 dive gear apart and rinse it in fresh water you’ll have a chance to change into your dry
                 clothes before being transferred back to Jesselton Point jetty.


Day 2

Important Notes

  • Rate Per Person is based on join-in basis of shared guide and transportation.
  • All rates displayed are quoted in Ringgit Malaysia (MYR).
  • A minimum of 2 adults per booking is required.
  • Due to traffic conditions, departure time varies from a different hotel. Should there be any delay, please call the telephone number stated on the e-ticket before making alternative arrangements.
  • Sabah Parks Diving Permit of MYR 53.00 and MYR 20.00 per pax are chargeable for Non-Malaysians and Malaysians respectively.  Paid once per diving day trip, or once per diving course.
  • Liability Release Form MUST be understood and signed by all participants before the tour commences.


Child Policy

  • There is no child rate will be applied.
  • Children below 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.


Outskirts Hotels Pick-up & Drop Off Surcharges

  • Additional charges of MYR 30.00 per pax are chargeable for outskirt hotels pickups. Outskirt charges are applicable for hotels outside of Kota Kinabalu city area.


Private Tour Service

  • Private tour is available at a reasonable fee for private guide & transportations.


Terms & Conditions

  • For the safety of our clients, due to inclement weather or due to events beyond our control Golden Kestrel Tours Sdn. Bhd. may need to cancel a tour. We reserve the right to change to an alternative tour or cancel the tour at our absolute discretion. In such event, no resource or claims shall be made against us.
  • Golden Kestrel Tours Sdn. Bhd. reserves the right to alter routes, timetables, itineraries and accommodation reserved should beyond our control render if necessary.
  • Golden Kestrel Tours Sdn. Bhd. shall not be liable in consequence of war, strike, riots, and natural disasters or conditions beyond the control of our company.

Cancellation Policy
  • 50% refund for cancellation 30 days or more prior to departure (to be processed within 14-28 working days).
  • 25% refund for cancellation within 30 days prior to departure (to be processed within 14-28 working days).
  • NO REFUND for cancellation within 15 days prior to departure.
  • Cancellation within 24 hours prior to departure will be considered as “last minute cancellation” or “absenteeism” will forfeit 100% of their payment.
